Truth Dare Double Dare is a multi-disciplinary design firm founded in 2001 by partners Franziska H端bler and Jeremy Abbett. Their primary goal involves creating meaning through the intersection of art and technology. Recent and ongoing projects include visual identities, online experiences and physical computing.
Bios
Professor Franziska H端bler - After completing her degree in Fine Art at the Hochschule f端r bildende K端nste Hamburg and a taking a year of computer sciences at the University of Hamburg, Franziska worked as an Art Director creating websites for a diverse range of musical artists such as David Bowie and Rammstein. Her exploration in wearable and physical computing was formerly undertaken while doing research at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea - a venture sponsored by Telecom Italia. Franziska has recently accepted a professorship teaching Computergest端tztes Arbeiten at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
Jeremy Tai Abbett - Directly out of his graphic design education Jeremy was hired as an Art Director for the Hamburg, Germany based agency Springer and Jacoby Advertising. From there he went on to co-found his own agency Fork Unstable Media. After four years of creating award-winning work while at Fork he was recruited by Fallon in New York to lead their interactive services. His work has won numerous awards but he is most proud of the three design projects that the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art acquired in 1998.
